Tuition is tailored to the needs of the individual. The main aim is to provide inspiration and guidance with encouragement to share ideas and explore different ways of working.
All excursions are accompanied and group numbers are kept small to maximise individual attention and to ensure a good student/tutor ratio.
Tuition, in a range of media, is led by local artist James Fraser. Trained at Edinburgh College of Art, James has over 20 years' experience of teaching drawing and painting to adults.
James's own work is expressive and colourful. Executed in pencil, watercolour crayons, gouache and oils, it is inspired and influenced by the landscapes and cityscapes of Scotland and the Mediterranean.
